Yes Game of Thrones is in my eyes really untouchable... especially the last season is really mega awesome done, not even blockbuster movies can keep up....
what i can also recommend is
"Prison Break" (very dramatically done, where it's all about how 2 brothers stick together to get each other out of jail and lots of stuff happens)
"Sons of Anarchy" (This is so to speak about the inner life of a rocker gang which is mega exciting because unlike other series there are really dramatic things happen with which no viewer expects, and if you have started with it and you get to know the characters a little bit has the real addictive potential )
"Breaking Bad (No comment )
