Hello Dear GambleJoe Community,

I just want to tell you my story. I'm 30 now and completely stopped all gambling activities half a year ago. Had a lot of online casino bookings especially in the TWO years (bank statements look like sow from that time).
I know that I will never gamble again, even though that is probably told all the time in this forum here.
I would only have one question or that would be my current plan since I don't know any other way to help myself.
I will certainly be burned at my local bank due to all the debits on my checking account and will never be considered creditworthy there again (I assume anyway).
Would it do any good if I looked for a new bank? Can I thus leave my past behind me? If I were to apply for a loan there in say 5 years (building loan for example), would they want to see the old bank statements?
I really don't know what to do. Have a soon long and hard study behind me and see actually only problems in the future, because I'm afraid never to be creditworthy again and that because of such a MÜLL!!!!

Your credit score is objectively measured not by your bank statements but by 3 factors;

1. Net income
2. Burdens such as rent, cell phones, existing loans, etc.
3.Schufascore

No one is interested in your individual transactions.

It is only important that you don't get a negative Schufa entry, because then points 1-3 become irrelevant.

The beauty of credit is that you can improve it again

If you no longer gamble and your account looks good speaks to a loan even at the house bank nothing against the give only mostly none with an active Zockerlaune

Why don't you just ask your bank?
Who is supposed to give you binding information here?

Well, so in general, someone can help here certainly

If I cancel my account and from the new bank no longer have any deposits in OCs, the new bank of the old transactions (in my opinion) should not notice anything

If you have no negative Schufaeintrag, a normal small Verbrauvher- credit should actually be no problem I would think. On my account were also often payouts from casinos, but no deposits, only psc... My bank consultant has nevertheless contacted me every half year, if I do not need a new car or something else and thus a loan again...

A construction loan... Yes no idea, if you hold your account now 5 years clean and then the appropriate job and especially the appropriate equity, I would now believe I do not necessarily see a problem.
But of course it can be that you get worse conditions or so...
I think you really can't say that in general.
If you need e.g. 600,000 and have 400,000 equity, the bank may not look as critically as if you have 200,000.
But this is just my layman's opinion.
You can't really do more than keep your account clean from now on anyway...

Is there anyone here who has ever financed a large sum and had a gambling past?
I just want to find out if this makes you an unreasonable Risk factor for the banks or not
