Counter developed this today and I sat down and let the thing calculate 100,000x the complete advent calendar lottery.
The names were anonymized. Especially at the beginning (with a few runs), you can see that some users win more often than others.
The more runs you make, the "fairer" (more even) the thing becomes. In the end, the lottery is fair because no one is favored by the random number generator. Everyone has the same chance to win.

We hope that despite all the criticism you will realize that we are probably acting more transparently than anyone else and that we are not favoring anyone.

i agree.you don't have to justify yourselves in any way,especially not for such a (completely free action) for all players. instead, i think EVERYONE should be grateful for it. i myself have not been drawn yet either... so what? it will happen,and if it doesn't,it's not bad either....
