After the successful streaming platform Twitch exacerbated its regulations for gambling streams, many more casino streamers are switching to the competitor platform Kick. In fact at Kick, they are bragging about having higher viewer numbers. The Berlin Influencer “Tanzverbot” is now openly suggesting that the viewer numbers could have been partly fabricated. But why is the gambling critic claiming this?

At the beginning of the year we had reported that the end of an era for casino streamers is imminent at Twitch. The platform has exacerbated its regulations for gambling activities, and it has become increasingly unattractive for casino streams to stream here. Consequently, many gambling streamers are switching to the competitor’s platform Kick. The attractive regulations and the high shares from the revenue generated are attracting the streamers.

Kick is very popular with casino streamers

Since the new “Twitch regulations” came into effect, streaming in online casinos such as Stake.com is not allowed anymore. In September 2021, in an article we had published on GambleJoe we had answered the question as to why are so many successful casino streamers playing on Stake.com.

Many gambling streamers who had previously played in Crypto casinos such as Stake, changed over to the competitors Kick. This is a comparatively new platform which still permits casinos like Stake. The casino streamers who are successful on Twitch are now facing the challenge of having to enthuse their fans to switch to the new platform Kick. Legal contents are still being streamed on Twitch and then a link to Kick is shared in the content to enthuse the viewers to the new platform. Gambling streams are then published on this link.

Are they cheating at Kick.com?

A week ago, the polarising Berlin streamer “Tanzverbot” spoke out about his suspicions that the new platform Kick is cheating. He finds it extremely unusual that just a short time after the “Kick-Hype” the new platform already seems to have the same amount of viewers as Twitch had previously. He is implying that the platform is thus making use of so-called “Viewbots” which are boosting the number of viewers.

“Tanzverbot“, who is well known for his critical opinion against gambling, had in the past announced his own one-time casino stream. However, it soon came about that it was just a PR-action and that he was still demonising casino streams.

However, there is still no proof that they are cheating at Kick. It is however conspicuous that many streamers on the new platform Kick have as many viewers in a short while as they had in the past on Twitch. Just a few weeks ago we had reported that the successful GTA-Streamer “Bazzi” had started doing casino streams on Twitch and was immediately blocked.

Conclusion

Many large casino streamers are on the new platform Kick. A lot of the gambling content cannot be streamed anymore on Twitch. The controversial streamer “Tanzverbot” is suspecting that Kick is fabricating the viewer numbers. It is not believable that a new platform has as many viewers as Twitch has. However, till now, there is no proof of this accusation.
