In the past year more than 130,000 people had visited the casino near Lake Tegern. Accordingly on average every casino guest had staked 257.70 when visiting. According to a statement by the casino management most of the visitors are from the neighbouring districts of Rosenheim, Berchtesgaden and Miesbach. But many gambling enthusiasts who visit the casino in Bad Wiessee are also from Augsburg and the Swabian region.

Other casinos of the chain Spielbanken-Bayern in Bavaria are far worse off

Besides the casino near Lake Tegern there are eight other Spielbanken-Bayern casinos in Bavaria. However, their income does not even measure up to that of the casino in Bad Wiessee. The casino in Garmisch-Partenkirchen “only” had a turnover of 13.5 million Euro (around 59,000 visitors). Other Spielbanken-Bayern casinos are located in Feuchtwangen, Lindau, Bad Kissingen, Bad Füssing, Bad Reichenhall, Bad Kötzting and Bad Steben.

The Spielbank Bad Wiessee is located directly on the picturesque Lake Tegern, which lies to the south of Munich. The minimum age for visitors is 21 years and the slot machines are open daily from 12.00 p.m. till 2.00 a.m. The large game opens daily as from 3.00 p.m.
