Group B:

I've made up my mind and I'm out too. I would like to tell you my reasons (even if I don't have to).

1) Odds for "safe" bets are not attractive enough. Both scoring at 1.42, where there are 1.7/1.8 for some games... I don't think that's attractive enough. As we saw in the City-Real second leg, one team often struggles to hit the net even though they have plenty of chances. Another example would be the first leg Liver-Atlanta, where Liverpool didn't score. They had 19 shots, 71%... almost happened to City on Wednesday.

Taking that Risk to get a few extra € is not worth it for me personally. I'd rather go out with what I've earned than be too greedy and end up on €0.

2) Due to the weak goal odds, a winner bet is very attractive (3 odds). I also favor PSG (only because of Mbappe, when he revs up and turns on his turbo, he is faster than Speedy Gonzales), but BVB has shown that they are not to be underestimated at home. They were 2-0 up against ATM, were caught up and were then able to bring it back to 4-2. The bookies are therefore expecting a very high-scoring game, but whether it will turn out that way - no idea and I don't want to go all in (even though I personally have already bet much higher amounts).

3) After 2 games, 5/8 groups have landed on 0€. Some groups were even very unanimous about the tips, but were surprised. Be it that Liverpool didn't score in the first leg, Milan lost both games (I would have thought Milan would have progressed) or that Barca got a red card too early and unnecessarily in the second leg and therefore lost the game. This underlines my assessment that this CL/EL season is difficult to predict.

The fact that I'm now dropping out has nothing to do with the group. We were a very pleasant group and everyone participated (whether in the thread or via Communicator). That's also why I wrote to Andre that there was no inactive user in our group. So you will all get your share if you decide to leave.

It was fun and it was worth the experience to be the captain of a group Good luck to the members who are still going on, as well as the rest of the groups!

Thanks also to Andre and GJ for the competition. Such actions are not a matter of course

We have been drawn to play BVB-PSG & PSG-BVB.

Our total capital is 79,30€.

Andre posted this earlier: https://www.gamblejoe.com/forum/sportwetten/tippspiele/saisonendspurt-gewinnspiel-390942/4/#p393618

Andre also posted that you can stop individually. If you are unsure, happy with your win or whatever, you can write to him privately and ask for your share to be distributed.

The other group members can continue playing!

It is therefore up to you whether or not you want to gamble your winnings again.

One thing I want to mention in advance: the odds for "both score" are 1.42 and for "over 2.5" 1.53. Together that would be 1.7 and we are almost 2 weeks before the game. The odds will drop a little. So they are rather unattractive. Otherwise I don't know which bets could be attractive. PSG and BVB have about the same odds (about 3).

If you drop out, you can also post it here so that the others can perhaps estimate how much total capital they will be playing with. I myself still have to think about whether to stop here or quit.

I'll keep it short, I'm getting out now! It was nice to be with you, maybe we'll meet again next year. Thanks again to captain Frapi, who has kept the team together and has always been highly motivated and of course a big thank you to Andre, who started the prediction game. Good luck to everyone who continues to play.

Well, I know that almost everyone in Group B has cashed out. I only don't know from one member whether he has decided to continue playing or not. I assume that he hasn't done so because no Tip has been submitted yet.

All other groups (except for your group) have landed on 0.

So from A-D only the C group (you and Patzi) is still there.

Groups E-H were all 0 except for group H. I think only 2 out of 5 group members are playing (Langhans and Butterbrezel).

Personally, the BVB-PSG match was too uncertain for me. Would have bet on PSG. Betano has the 2-goal rule. I could well imagine PSG leading by at least 2 goals in the course of the game. The odds on goals/both scoring were too low.

You can also look at the original thread. It's even linked here on the 1st page. Andre always posted the interim results there. Should be on page 4.

No problem

How you can be so wrong...

good thing we cashed out. No +2.5, no both score and bvb narrowly won 1-0.

I actually wanted to continue playing. But I hadn't heard anything about how it was going to continue.

You should have contacted Andre. He's currently on vacation. You probably didn't get your money paid out either. You still have the second leg.

At least be glad you didn't bet on the first leg. Hardly anyone would have expected a 1-0

Ok, I understood that the groups would be reorganized. Well, it'll all work out..

PS: I would never have expected that!

no no. You alone can decide what to bet now, since everyone else (including me) has cashed out.
