Dear Community,

on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 we will be moving our portal to a new server.
We are doing this for several reasons:
- we increase the security of the server architecture,
- we speed up the page loading speed,
- we create the basis for technical future suitability

The changeover is expected to start at 8am and will last until 12pm.

During this time, the user login will be deactivated , so that no data (such as newly written forum posts, or freshly uploaded winning pictures) can be lost during the move.
With the move, we are also updating our system at the program code level, which means that it cannot be ruled out that small errors may occur in the first hours or days after the update. We are proceeding with utmost care, but we still ask you to report these errors to us as soon as possible to ensure a smooth operation of the platform.

Keep your fingers crossed, we'll keep you updated in this thread.

Yep, thanks for asking. The brown color will come off later though - it's just so we can be sure we're on the new server.

If the header was black, the web page would still have been loaded from the old server.
Especially when the DNS has been freshly changed, you are never sure whether all browsers have now received the correct (new) settings.
