Off topic & small talk: Looking for a place to stay for the next few weeks (Page 5)

A good and idea from Daniel and Matthias! I keep my fingers crossed for Dipson and hope it works out!!! Addendum: What just occurs to me: Despite the anonymity here I feel the forum, if it offers such good things or you think about it, somehow like a kind of "solidarity community" (even if that sounds strange with players now perhaps), just with different people and ideas. Since I won something 3 days ago, I could gladly participate once with a sum for the apartment, if it should be scarce. Could send it, for example, via Paypal.

Someone had said that in Germany you don't have to sleep on the street. That's true, but sometimes the conditions in homeless shelters are very bad, so you can understand if people prefer to sleep on the street. But I have only heard, not experienced myself

That's true, but partly the conditions in homeless shelters are already very bad, there you can understand if people prefer to sleep on the street. But I have only heard, not experienced myself

I have talked to some homeless people who have spent the night in public libraries. Apparently it's not that easy to get a place to stay.
Partly I feel sorry for the people and give them (especially at this cold time of year) a coffee from the vending machine. Since they are always happy...

I don't have more information about this (how and what it depends on to get an accommodation etc.) but I know that some landlords don't want homeless or Harz 4 recipients to get their apartments and prefer to look for a "reasonable" tenant. Especially now it is extremely hard, because yes the co prices are almost unaffordable. With social housing I have no idea...
A buddy had to send in 3 months of proof of salary for a new apartment, send schufa application to them, perso etc. He was taken but he has to pay the rent already for February 2018 (was selected only 2 days ago from about 300 applicants...)

greetings

Would me to this with a small "donation" also participate, there I know at least what the money is used for

We should register Gamble-Joe as a charitable foundation. Then Daniel and Matthias establish a fund and pay players in need from this forum. With state support. That would be something
