in my opinion it does make a difference - because the desktop version of a game is often different than the mobile version - ergo the currently active RTP of a game can be different. Generally it will balance out but it "can" make a difference with which device you are playing the slot!
I have or had the tick very often in the evening / at night on the couch to play on the side on the cell phone.
