Unlucky at cards - lucky in love? A US poker player proposed to his girlfriend in a Texas casino. Surely there are more romantic places in the world than a gambling house. But the casino proposal had its justification. Find out if the woman said yes in today's article.

The one-minute video of poker player Chris C. proposing to his girlfriend Jenn B. has been going viral on social networks for several days. It has already been viewed nearly 100,000 times. The emotional moment was captured at The Lodge Card Club, a renowned poker club in the US state of Texas.

Poker player goes all in - with success?

In the video posted on Twitter, poker player Chris C. can be seen getting down on one knee in front of his beloved Jenn. She is overwhelmed by the situation and rubs her eyes in tears. A few seconds later, her boyfriend appears to ask her the all-important question of whether she wants to marry him.

Although it cannot be heard on the video, all indications are that she then says yes. She takes him in her arms and the surrounding guests at the poker club applaud. The two then kiss tearfully. However, it seems that at least some of the guests in the room were unaware of what was happening. Many of them remained at their tables, presumably in the middle of a game.

Is a poker club a good place to propose?

Many people would probably prefer not to be proposed to in a casino. Admittedly, there are many more romantic places than a nearby casino. However, in the case described above, the couple spent most of their professional and personal lives at the casino and poker club anyway. While he is a poker player, she is apparently a waitress at the poker club. The Lodge Card Club is run by influencers Brad Owen, Andrew Neame and Doug Polk.

In the summer of 2021, we reported on GambleJoe that a wedding planner had scammed 24 couples and gambled away the money she had earned.
