I also think that you quickly get bogged down with weapon purchases etc.. The slot is presented as a revolution in the history of slots. Probably in the long run you need a console controller to kill the mummies

Just answered the question. I wouldn't play the slot, can get too much quickly as you say with the weapon purchases and you end up running Auto Aim while re-buying anyway.
