The update was successfully applied and you should now feel a much improved loading time in the Communicator.
Background of the update:
Some users are very active here and have more than 50 chat partners.
Until now, the chat histories were displayed one below the other and loaded completely every time you opened the Communicator overview.
Due to the unnecessary loading of older chat histories, your browser had a bit more to do, which could lead to slower loading times as the number of chat partners increased.
As of now, fewer chats are displayed and the database queries have been optimized.
More chats from the past can now be reached with another mouse click.
Would be great if you could briefly report your experience - do you feel a difference?
It would be desirable if a notification function via email would finally be implemented.
If you are offline or logged out and you receive a message via Communicator, you will be notified via email that a new message has arrived.
Here a mail with a standard text is enough. So you don't have to enter the content of the received message in the mail.
If you are online or logged in, this function can be omitted.
This is a standard feature in many other forums.

the notification function was never completely deactivated. We just delayed it a bit (48h). This delay was removed again, because it makes no sense at the moment. There are currently "only" GJ Coins in the lottery and there is no extra notification. Therefore you can watch the winning video, or if that is too exciting for you, you can watch the coin overview in the user area.
If there is then a card / code (currently PSC or Amazon) this was requested by the user as an exchange. Therefore, it is of course better if after successful exchange directly the corresponding notification appears without delay.
