I've been with you since 2018. It's a shame that you're stopping. Wish you all the best. Gj was always part of the daily routine, but everything changes somehow. All the best and thanks for letting me be part of it.
It's a real shame that it's being closed down.
I really appreciated the fact that there was freedom of opinion here and that criticism, e.g. of the licensed offer, was tolerated, even though you are also an Affiliate for those providers.
I also liked many of the members and it was nice to talk about our hobby.
I also visited the Gamblebase homepage and what I like is the list of offline casinos worldwide. Although there is everything on the internet, it is still difficult to find information about offline casinos you want to visit. Considering how many people are in casinos around the world at any given time, and expanding on that with better information and even ratings, I think that's a good gap in the market. Let's see if I can make it into the forum.
Good evening Gamblejoe team and
Gambling community,
i would also like to thank you very much for the very entertaining time here, without you most people (including me, of course) would have been pretty screwed up since the rules were introduced.
I'm sure we'll never see a team like this again that has done so much for the community.
Even though I've only been a member for a fraction of the time I've been here, I immediately felt welcomed and included by you guys.
You guys are the best... and maybe I'll hear from you here and there.
Also a big thank you to the community who gave tips and hints on the NDB offers every day, and of course to those who were there to help and advise everyone in the forum, even if one or the other was out of character, it was still very entertaining.
I can't wait to see how many times a week I try to log on to your site, oh man you are already part of my morning routine.
Guys be decent and kind to each other everyone here you were the best thanks for everything.
Dear Community,
after almost a decade of ups and downs, the time has come for me to say goodbye to GambleJoe.
GambleJoe was never just any old project - it was a part of my life. For me, for many of you.
The community was the heart of this website and I would like to thank you all at - for your loyalty, your contributions, the discussions, sometimes arguments and reconciliation.
When I look back:
When I met Daniel back then, GambleJoe was still in its infancy - he had a great idea and had built a small static website (there was no community back then).
He brought the vision, I brought the practical experience - and together we built something that became bigger than I could ever have imagined: the largest and most active casino community in Germany. Even today, I still find it hard to comprehend what we have actually achieved.
We went to Malta together, expanded, built a great office, hired employees, made money - it was a damn good time. One that I will never forget. The fact that we were able to reach so many people with this project was not a given. On the one hand, of course, it was luck, but on the other hand it was continuous hard work. Your encouragement gave us additional motivation.
A big thank you goes to all our (ex-)employees, without whom GambleJoe would never have become what it was:
Counter (programming), Julian (community), Antje (accounting), Caro (complaints), Andre (night watchman), Sabine, Tim, Michael (all-rounder), Dennis (design), Kevin, Christoph, Christian W., Christian F. (content), Michael K. (technology), Olaf (orders).
And of course a special thank you to our moderators: gamble1, Langhans_innen, Saphira - you did a great job.
And yes - even if it's not easy for me to leave, I'm now at peace with the situation. I did everything I could to keep the portal going, but at some point things were out of my hands.
Of course it's a shame - I would have liked to have continued to support GambleJoe. But sometimes you have to let go.
I'm now looking ahead - to new projects, new challenges.
As the saying goes? After the thunder comes the rainbow. I'm looking forward to this time.
For many of you, the journey with me and Counter continues anyway.
That's why I'm not saying goodbye, just goodbye: See you soon - I'll write to you.
In principle, pretty much everything has already been said. Many thanks to all those mentioned. It will probably take a while for this realization to fully sink in. I've been working on this project for 10 years. So it's not so easy to say goodbye today, at least for us. GambleJoe was sometimes like a rollercoaster ride of emotions, but it also became a professional home for me. So many functions were created (not all of them are still active), which always brought new challenges.
When we started to redevelop the project in 2015, we started from scratch. There was a written guide for the basic functions and off we went. And over time, it has become so much more. I never thought I would miss GJ so much.
I wish you the best of luck for the future and don't overdo it with the gaming.
I had already written something a few days ago, but now, so close to the end, I have to say at least once more: THANK YOU Gamblejoe for really cool years! It was a pleasure and as they say: You never leave completely... See you (at least many of you) at Gamblebase!
I already wrote something in the thread at the very beginning. But I'll write something again so close to the end
I've been here since 2018. Gamblejoe was a daily ritual for me!!! You've done a really good job all this time. Too bad it's ending now.
I already miss the Christmas calendar! And also the discussions in the forum.
I wish everyone in the team all the best. And the best of success in the new projects. The forum members (the core) were always nice and helpful.
Have a good time everyone. And as you know, you always read each other twice in life
