A little something from my side too:
Gamblejoe has been with me for what feels like ages now, and it feels like yesterday. Just thinking about how often Gamblejoe has been able to help me with problems regarding casinos, I'm sure not all of them could have been resolved so easily without the help here.
The discussions that have taken place here in the forum over the years have also been great. And last but not least, Gamblejoe's continued generosity over the years, I mean, where else would you have gotten so much money as a gift without having to do anything for it?
So of course it's an extreme shame that this will end here, but who knows, maybe it's also an opportunity? In any case, I'll be registering with Gamblebase in the next few days.
But until then, I just have to say THANK YOU to Gamblejoe. To put something like this together over the years, to have such a nice community and to be so friendly and helpful is (unfortunately) no longer a matter of course these days!
It's getting serious. It's already noticeably less busy here.
The right moment to thank Julian and Matthias for all the years here with GJ. You already know why & what I mean specifically 😉
Back then, about 15 years ago, when Daniel was still making videos and then this site went online, initially without a forum, there was a very special atmosphere. Suddenly casinos were popping up everywhere. Every third person was making videos, but only a handful managed to establish themselves. Among them was Daniel aka Gamblejoe with his extreme bets of 5 to 50 euros for the time. I think sometimes I only play because I'm chasing that feeling from back then. Maybe without Gamblejoe it will be a bit easier for me to extend my gambling distance.
Gamblebase looks good so far and will certainly develop, I'll be active there too, but that feeling from back then will never come back.
I wish everyone who has read this all the best and, above all, good health 🍀🐞🎰
The best German-language platform by far will soon be shutting down, which will leave a big gap and you will be missed. Once again, a big thank you from me and best wishes for the future to the whole team. You have put your heart and soul into your work and have really been on fire over the years. I can't express how much respect and appreciation I have for you in a post like this.
This news has shocked me a little, GJ is not just a platform for casinos but also a meeting place for casino gamblers!
Over the years I have had very good and interesting conversations, and of course some that were not so pleasant....
I would like to thank the entire GJ team for everything (Advent calendar, monthly coin raffles etc.) and wish you all the best of luck!
A special thank you goes to ExCal, Mustang, Hans x3, Chewi, Windows and Rainmann...wish you all the best!
Regards Sandra
After a short period of absence, you come back here and have to read some really sad news...
First of all, we have to say a huge thank you to the entire GambleJoe team!
What you have put together here in over a decade is unparalleled in this industry.
I would also like to emphasize the constant help from Julian, Caro, Matthias and André. Whenever there were questions or problems, you always took care of them immediately and were almost always able to find a solution.
Be it the informative community posts, the countless lotteries or other great projects. A big, big thank you to you!
I will miss the great time here very much and have the faint hope that the forum will perhaps return in some way under the same management.
How am I supposed to build up the suspense until Christmas Eve without the Christmas raffle???
You guys should be really proud of what you've built up here!
Even though there was a lot of complaining here (I'm one of them), the community here was really top notch for the most part!
I wish the entire team and the community all the best for the future and remain with the small spark of hope that you will always see each other a second time in life (in this case in the forum).

I also think it's a real shame that you're closing down. I always had the site as my homepage so I wouldn't miss any bonuses. But what the heck, there comes a time for everyone. In this sense, good luck to you and I hope we continue to write to each other at Gamblebase

It's a shame that it had to come to this.
Rs was a great and informative forum which often helped.
I wish you all the best.
If there's anything you can do to help or support ... I'll be there
It's about time for a few words in this thread. Only a few more days until GambleJoe goes into read mode and I still can't believe it. Sure, the first big shock was a few weeks ago now, but that doesn't make the fact much more tangible to me. My first thought when I found out was about Counter and the realization that he will never turn the snow on and off here at Christmas again. Then I thought about the whole team and where everyone would be going. And that it would be impossible to just let all these people leave and never see them again, but that we would have to find a way to "park" them somewhere. From day one of the bad news, it seemed completely unreal to me that this forum, which had been so successful and entertaining for so many years, with its growing community of diverse characters, should simply be shut down like a machine.
It was actually thanks to the slot "White Rabbit" that I became aware of GambleJoe back then. I had the typical beginner's luck - an incredible run and thought it would go on forever. I read everything I could find about the game online and came across the community in 2019. The first very friendly user told me straight away that you don't always win. How right he was!
Since then, I've been on the forum almost every day and gradually got to know the community and the GambleJoe team. As there was no gambling contract at that time, the topics were more varied and one of the many highlights was clearly "Toby" with his Bonus hunt streams, which were always well attended and where there was even a PSC to win at the end. And no - even if it's hard to believe - people didn't just come to the stream because it was entertaining. There was always a lot to discuss in the forum, to laugh about, and sometimes the sparks flew, but really. I was often right in the middle of the action and certainly gave the Gj team a few gray hairs - until I became a moderator (not a moderator!) over time.
I'll never forget Christoph's great articles on the latest slots, the debates in the Videoslots freeroll threads, the kitchen corner with Gagapapamama's man-sized country house chops, the monthly lotteries and annual Advent calendars with guaranteed spats, but also the never-ending helpfulness and extraordinary generosity of the GambleJoe team. There is no comparable platform that has done so much for its community and given them so many gifts. A huge thank you from me. But also for the fact that I've had a place to go here all these years and have come into contact with very nice people. I also have fond memories of the moderators who have already left, especially dear Caro.
I wish Matthias and Counter every success at GambleBase and Julian a lucky hand with his new project, which should ideally have that old feeling again - when you're just starting out but know that it's going to be really good. All the best and good luck to the community as it is.
