Dear Community,

as we announced in the middle of March, Daniel and I have been thinking a lot about the point system and the point distribution.
The previous points system made it possible for new users, for example, to collect a really high number of points in a very short time by submitting many game reviews in order to gain an advantage in the PSC raffle.
Furthermore, many members also complained, for example, that by uploading winning pictures with a low winning factor, you can also collect a lot of points. We have decided not to ban pictures with low win factor. For the reason that it can also be interesting, for example, if you had 30 free spins and in the end 0€ come out.
It was also criticized that the effort involved in cutting and uploading a winning video was also "not appreciated" in the comparison.

In the past weeks we have intensively developed GambleJoe further, our focus was on better usability on all devices. Scoring was secondary to this development work for the time being, so we will now be addressing the issue more intensively starting in April. We have taken your suggestions and thoughts into account in our plans for the future, and we will let you know more details as soon as we know how the new system will work.

In order to make the points distribution fairer, we have made the following changes today as of 01.04.2018:

Activity bonus (daily login): from 10 to 25 points
Explanation: it is very important to us that users are regularly active on GambleJoe and therefore we reward daily login much more.

winning pictures upload: from 75 to 40 points
Explanation: presumably in the future there will be a dynamic point distribution according to Win factor, good pictures will be rewarded higher than pictures with smaller win factors. The stake is completely irrelevant, so that players with a small gaming budget will not be disadvantaged
Since this feature has not been implemented yet, we have reduced the point allocation for the winning pictures a bit for the time being.

Winning video upload: from 175 to 200 points
Explanation: of course the effort is higher if you want to produce and upload a winning video. The videos will probably be dynamically rated by winning factor in the future, just like the winning pictures. Currently, this feature is not yet implemented, so we reward the newly uploaded videos a little higher than before. A good winning video is thus 5x more "valuable" than a winning picture.

Game ratings: from 10 to 3 points
Explanation: In fact new members have the possibility to rate all games. Since we add new games every day and now have over 1600 games in the database, this would lead to enormous scores in the short term. Furthermore, a game rating is done with one mouse click, which makes 3 points seem appropriate to us here.

Comments: from 20 to 15 points
Explanation: We noticed that, for example, games are commented with only a few words and thus high scores are generated. To counteract this, we have somewhat reduced the number of points to be awarded. We are of course very happy about comments and Christoph also needs the feedback for his articles - so comments will be rewarded proportionally very well in the future.

Forum activity: from 15 to 10 points
We have heard in the past that some members hardly dared to write in the forum, because immediately "spam to collect points" was assumed.
To counteract this, we have decided to reward the forum contributions in the future, for the time being, somewhat weakened. We have also thought about this and want to reward higher quality posts more in the future, but this still requires some development time.

Casino ratings: from 250 to 400 points
What makes GambleJoe so special are the real and authentic casino reviews.
There are currently still a lot of community members who are active in the forum, but have not yet submitted a single review for the Online Casinos we present.
To create a little incentive here, we have decided to reward the casino reviews much better in the future.

Registration and Verification: remains at 50 points
There is not much to explain here, everything remains the same.


Our plan for the near future
We will start developing a better system for Paysafe card distribution from next week after Easter.
