Paysafecard has blocked me that they want to know where my money comes from.
What happens now?
Unfortunately, for legal reasons we have to ask you to provide us with these documents. However, there is now an even easier way to continue using your myPaysafe account. Simply log in to paysafecard.com , go to our support center page and upload one of the following documents. This process is secure.
Savings from wages, inheritance or donation
Wage slip, letter from employer, inheritance certificate, tax return
Gambling or
Investments
Proof of wins or trading winnings, investment portfolio (with dividends), screenshots/video recordings (with account details and gambling winnings), gambling account certificate, account statement with receipt of payment of winnings, capital investments (with dividends or closed trading winnings/losses)
What if I don't tell them?
Will the account simply be closed or what happens next?
I use the thread times for my question before I open an extra if it is allowed.
I had to upgrade to Unlimited which I did successfully via Auto Ident.I don't get any confirmation from them because nothing arrives and nothing is visible in the account. Can't find any decent support email except the useless chat bot.
I'll just use this thread now.
I received this by e-mail...
"
Looks official, but still a bit skeptical. When I click on it, I get to a login screen, user data + password. I didn't enter anything at first.
Then I went in via the PSC app, where you could also query the "additional information". However, no message appears here.
I'm also surprised that I'm not greeted with my name in the email. Just a simple "Hello".
Has anyone else received something like this?
Edit: It's getting even "wilder". I've now received the same email nine times at 4-minute intervals since 10.20 😂

Hello without name = 100% spam / scam.
If you click on "to me" at the top, you will also see the sender's address. This will definitely not be paysafecard.
The correct ending of the correct Paysafecard mails is: @mailer.paysafecard.com

I'm no longer 100% sure (email already deleted), but I think they addressed me by my first name. I normally always pay attention to this first feature...
Want to know what your annual gross amount is and what you use mypaysafe for. In other words, what you know from the other e-wallets
An email that starts with "Hello" without your name is definitely not from the provider. They know your name and are addressing you.
With Paysafe, for example, it's the first name. I last received an email with the first name in August 2023, but I'm sure that they haven't changed this important feature to "Hello" in the meantime.
If documents were really required to verify the account, this would also be displayed in the account after logging in on the regular page. Just as it was required for the necessary upgrade, for example.
If this is not the case, it is another indication of spam.
@Hans: Why don't you post the log-in link from the email here? This will also tell you whether it really leads to Paysafe or, as I suspect, to a fake page.

Sender address in the mail is [email protected]
Looks right.
In the meantime 13 mails have arrived. I'll write to the support team later to see what they say.
Ok, now I'm a bit confused. This is the same link when you click on the log-in area on the start page.
So if the above email is genuine, I wonder who at Paysafe decided to omit the personal salutation in emails. That would be awesome.
