I will not get it. I would have gotten it, despite an existing car but if it had settled at 20-25 €. Then you could have driven here and there times with it. But 49 € is then just too much for me for the few times I drive it.
Even for free or for a fee, I would not voluntarily use public transportation. Therefore, a clear no to the ticket. I love my car, the mobility/flexibility that comes with it, and a few other advantages like peace and quiet from any annoying or crazy people.
For me, it's worth it. If I get it through the KVB I keep almost all the advantages as with my monthly pass for Cologne. And I no longer need to annoy me with VRS tariffs when I travel around NRW. Cologne Dusseldorf costs 12 euros the one-way ticket. Unfortunately the only IMAX cinema in NRW is in Düsseldorf. The great thing about Cologne is that you can reach beautiful destinations within 90 minutes by train. No matter which direction you take. The Eifel is not far, or Belgium, 1 hour to Koblenz. There once change and 30 minutes later you are at the Mosel. Cologne Aachen is 50 minutes. Change trains once and you're in...... what's the name of that big meadow behind Aachen that goes all the way to the North Sea.....🧐
