I recently received a summons from the police (not the public prosecutor's office) regarding a violation of §285.
I am being investigated for involvement in unauthorized gambling.
I have been asked by the criminal investigation department to present myself at the police station in the next few days to make a statement.

with all due respect... but why ask such an important question in a gambling forum, where there are probably 10 answers and each one says something different?
i mean, yes, you can ask questions here, but i wouldn't rely on the statements, for the sole reason that probably every 2nd person here writes something different
why don't you contact a lawyer right away and maybe look for someone who has experience in this area, i think he can help you best and knows for sure what to do in such a case......
