Champions League Tips: Neapel vs. Union
The Champions League group phase is now in its fourth round and I have picked the match between Neapel and Union Berlin for tomorrow. It is no secret that the Köpenicker are in the midst of an absolute crisis and have now lost thirteen (!) games in a row. Not wins, not draws, but defeats. Last weekend, they lost 3-0 at home to Eintracht Frankfurt, and the team's insecurity is palpable. In the last few years, the team has managed to win the 'nasty' games and impose their own style of play on their opponents. The first leg against Neapel was also lost, and in the legendary Stadio Diego Armando Maradona I see no sunshine for the Berliners.

Neapel still favourites without Osimhen?
The striker remains injured, which is no great cause for concern for me. He will be replaced by Raspadori, who scored in the first leg against Union and was also on target last weekend. Neapel have an extremely talented squad and there are few stadiums in Europe that can offer such a home advantage. However, the main reason for my tip is Union Berlin's poor form. I am not afraid of their squad, and if the usual mechanisms do not work, then this is just an average team.

My football prediction for Neapel vs. Union
Union have recently lost away to Heidenheim, Bremen and Stuttgart and I strongly suspect that Neapel will follow suit. The Neapolitans (is that how you say it?) will have to play to win and I expect them to take an early lead. At that point, the space will open up and Neapel will be able to take advantage of it. It hurts with the German fan glasses on, but I can't imagine a scenario where Union can keep up. An early exit from the Champions League will hopefully help in the Bundesliga relegation battle.
