Just a few days ago the rapper Drake gave away a total of 35 bitcoins to the community during a gambling stream. The total worth of these bitcoins runs into around one million US-Dollar. This was reported by the music magazine AllHipHop. But why was the successful rapper so generous?

The Canadian Rapper, R&B-Singer and actor Aubrey Drake Graham showed his generous side in his first gambling stream on Twitch and gave away a total of 35 bitcoins to the spectators. When using the current currency conversion rate this comes up to the equivalent of around one million US-Dollar. Since some time, Drake is an official partner of the crypto casino Stake.com. Just a few weeks ago we had reported that Drake had won an impressive 10.5 million US-Dollar in Online-Roulette.

First official streaming session of Stake and Drake

The collaboration between the online casino Stake.com and the Rapper Drake is still in its infancy. Recently the long-desired first gambling stream ever of the Canadian musician and actor was aired on Twitch. Here Drake gambled as a High Roller in the Stake Casino. This initial stream worked out quite well for him. After betting on his lucky number 11, he got away with a pay-out amounting to 18 million US-Dollar.

However, within a short time, Drake lost nearly all the millions he had won. The loss was probably not so painful for him however, because the credit was most likely provided by Stake.com. In September we had already raised the question, why do so many casino-streamers play on Stake.com.

Drake gave out a total of 35 bitcoin in the casino-stream

Although Drake mainly suffered several losses during the gambling stream, he had however organised a lottery and thereby gave out a total of 35 bitcoins to several members of his community. Interested viewers had to register beforehand on the platform to be able to take part in the lottery. Subsequently Drake selected individual members at random and these could benefit from different high winnings.

The individual winners were then informed about the winnings through a video message from Drake himself. This amounted to around 10,000 to 70,000 US-Dollar in Bitcoin. One of the winners was Carlos from Mexico. Drake awarded him bitcoins worth 10,000 US-Dollar and wished him “Health, more wealth, more life and lots of love”. We are assuming that the bitcoins awarded did not belong to Drake personally but were instead provided by Stake.com.

Meanwhile Stake.com has only confirmed that a new livestream, whereby bitcoins will again be awarded to fans, is planned to take place soon. Some months ago we had already reported in an article about the significant increase in crypto payments in online casino.

Conclusion

During his first casino stream, the rapper Aubrey Drake Graham awarded his community with a total of 35 bitcoin which amount to around one million US-Dollar. This was the first official streaming-session on Stake.com. However, there is the suspicion that the aim of this lottery was to attract the attention of the media. Drake, who is also famous under the pseudonym Drizzy, has long since shown a large affinity to gambling and has recently won a two-digit-million amount when playing online-roulette on Stake.com. We are excited to see how the collaboration between the Canadian Rapper and the crypto-casino Stake.com will develop in the future.
