Around two weeks ago, an occasional 30-year old gambler cracked a jackpot worth millions in France. With a stake of only two Euro the Frenchman won more than 2,6 million Euro. But how can such a high win come about in a land-based casino?

In July of last year we had reported about a 36-year old who really cleaned up in a casino in Baden-Baden. With a stake of 2.50 Euro he won an impressive 180,682 Euro. A young man from France staked 2 Euro at a slot machine in the night between the 1st. and the 2^nd. of January. Seconds later he was a millionaire.

For the 30-year-old occasional player the year could not start any better. In the casino in the community of Saint-Amand-les-Eaux near Lille he cracked the jackpot on the slot machine number 297 - with a stake of only two Euro. It is unclear which game the young Frenchman had played.

Shortly after, the casino published the following post on Facebook:

Only in November of the past year we reported about a couple who had cracked the jackpot in the casino Reeperbahn. Hereby we are talking about the “Hamburg Jackpot” amounting to around 85,000 Euro.

Nearly 40 casinos with a total of 165 slot machines take part in the French jackpot. The jackpot was cracked 66 times in the past ten years. In 31 cases the winning was of over a million Euro. More than 74 million Euro were paid out in total as price money to the players through this system of playing.

Conclusion

A young occasional player became a multimillionaire with a stake of only two Euro. The casino jackpot of over 2,6 million Euro was paid out to a 30-year-old player. For land-based casinos, at least those in the European countries, a jackpot of this amount is the absolute exception. As a rule, such million-worth jackpots are more found in the online casinos of slot machines like Mega Moolah or Mega Fortune. We can only wish the lucky chap from France that he will manage the impressive winning responsibly and he does not gamble the money away quickly.
