A few weeks ago, a rumour made the rounds that Bruno Mars owed a renowned casino in Las Vegas a sum in the tens of millions. However, the casino in question has since spoken out and denied the rumours. However, it is known that the world-famous singer is fond of gambling and likes to wager not inconsiderable amounts.

US R&B singer Bruno Mars has been performing regularly at the Park MGM Hotel since 2016. The complex includes a huge casino where the 38-year-old is said to be a regular. According to the news channel News Nation, Bruno Mars now owes the MGM Grand Casino 50 million US dollars. This is the equivalent of 46 million euros.

Does Bruno Mars earn $90 million a year at MGM?

A "Vegas insider" reported a few weeks ago that the star singer apparently earns $90 million a year at MGM Resorts International's Hotel Park. According to the rumours, the R&B singer would first have to pay back $50 million to MGM for gambling debts.

However, the gambling company has since spoken out and denied the rumours in a public statement. Specifically, MGM denies that the world-famous singer, who rose to fame with hits such as 'Grenade' and 'Locked out of Heaven', owes the casino any money:

"Any speculation to the contrary is wrong; he has no debt to MGM. We look forward to continuing to create unforgettable experiences for our guests together."

Does Bruno Mars have a problem with gambling?

Bruno Mars himself has not yet commented on the alleged 50 million gambling debts at MGM. However, it is a fact that the 38-year-old has regularly taken part in various games of chance in the past, sometimes losing a lot of money in the process. Back in 2016, the singer revealed that he played poker before his music career in order to pay his rent in Los Angeles. Back in March 2021, we published an article on GambleJoe about how responsible gambling works.
