Hey Hey dear GJ - Team and dear forum community

As you all know there is the possibility here on Gamblejoe to support social projects in the form of donations (at least there was once when PSC were raffled)

Today I had an idea that I just wanted to discuss with you

How would it be if Gamblejoe makes a kind of semi-annual or quarterly lottery where the users can buy tickets with their coins and the Pot then only increases from the actual values of the ticket purchase

Furthermore I would suggest to put a part of the price per sold ticket in donations and with the rest the pot increases further

At the end the pot can be divided to e.g. 5 people whose tickets are drawn and then logically more purchases would bring higher chances and thus more money would flow into donations

Legally this would not even be gambling because we have no possibility to buy GJ-Coins we would only move existing and thus achieve something good and create fun in the forum

That should be it now for now I am curious what you will list for pros and cons

First, it means more work without added value

It is already written in the free monthly lottery of fraud with some users
What should that be only if it is made with use?

And who wants to donate what makes it voluntarily for it needs no lottery

See in it also no added value. Anyone who wants to support charitable projects can already do so.

I also find the proposal rather suboptimal. Aren't we all gambling and playing enough already? You'd be happy about a safe amazon voucher that you haven't gambled away

I don't know if I've understood this correctly, but I don't think that people sit on the coins for a long time after they've won in order to save them up. And if they do, then probably not to throw them into a lottery Pot, which they would only have a good chance of winning if they keep buying tickets. I mean, you have to win a bunch of coins first. The fun factor here is also not clear to me
