In the past two weeks, two impressive casino jackpots have been won in southern Germany. Firstly, a player won the jackpot of over 110,000 euros late at night at Casino Baden-Baden. A few days later, the Bavarian jackpot of almost 620,000 euros was also hit at the Bad Steben casino.

Almost exactly a year ago, we at GambleJoe reported on a record win of over 500,000 euros at the Wiesbaden casino. In March of this year, two lucky players hit the jackpots in Baden-Baden and Bad Steben. The two players won a total of around 730,000 euros on 16 March and 24 March. In today's article, we reveal which bet led to the impressive winnings and which games the lucky casino visitors played.

Young man wins over 110,000 euros at Casino Baden-Baden

First of all, luck struck a 30-year-old player who hit the mega jackpot of 110,131 euros in Baden-Baden on 16 March with a stake of just 2.50 euros. The casual player from Karlsruhe was playing the Blazing 777 Black Jack Progressive.

The player already had two cards with the 7 of diamonds in front of him at blackjack table 2 late at 00:51. After the croupier completed the hand with a third 7 of diamonds, not only the player but also all the other guests knew that the six-figure jackpot had been won.

The Blazing 777 Black Jack Progressive was only introduced in 2018. It is only available in the three casinos in Baden-Württemberg. These are located in Baden-Baden, Stuttgart and Constance. To be eligible for the jackpot, players must place an additional bet of €2.50. Even at this stage, the jackpot is already well over 40,000 euros.

Regular guest wins Bavarian jackpot totalling almost 620,000 euros

Just eight days after the impressive win at Casino Baden-Baden, a regular guest in Bad Steben, around 400 kilometres away, hit the legendary Bavarian jackpot. On Sunday, 24 March at 6:52 pm sharp, the player from the Hof area was delighted to win €619,643. In September 2022, we at GambleJoe even reported that the Bavarian jackpot was €870,000 and was then hit at the Bad Füssing casino.

The Bayern-Jackpot is a slot machine jackpot organised by Spielbanken Bayern. There are four machines connected to the Bayern-Jackpot at each of the Bavarian casinos. To have a chance of winning the jackpot, the player must stake at least 0.50 euros. A maximum win of one million euros is possible here. After the Bayern-Jackpot was hit on 24 March, it started right back at an impressive 125,000 euros. Almost two years ago, we at GambleJoe reported that a player in Velden, Austria, hit the jackpot of over 200,000 euros in just two minutes.

Unfortunately, online players in Germany at least have had to do without progressive jackpots since the new State Treaty on Gambling (GlüStV) came into force. The GlüStV prohibits slot machines with a progressive jackpot feature.

Only around a month ago, we asked ourselves in an article whether a lightning strike or a casino jackpot is more likely.
