Football Tips: Barcelona vs. Porto
The Champions League is now in its fifth round and many decisions have already been made. From a German perspective, it is good to see that both Leipzig and Bayern have progressed to the next round. Tomorrow I have picked the game between Barcelona and Porto, as it is still all to play for for both teams. To be honest, I did not see Barcelona in this situation, as the group was clearly divided on paper. At this point, you have to give Shakhtar Donezk all the respect in the world for making the best of their current situation (home games in Hamburg, missing legionnaires, etc.) and even beating Barcelona on Matchday 4.

Porto in with a chance at the Estadio Olimpico?
Barcelona are currently rebuilding their Camp Nou stadium and will therefore have to use the Olympic stadium in Barcelona, but this has no bearing on my football predictions. The Catalans have not had a perfect season so far and are already four points behind Real Madrid in the league, with Gavi's injury to the national team just the icing on the cake. I recommend a bet on both teams to score, as I expect Barcelona to score at home and then Porto to score.

Both teams need to score here if they want to have a good chance of progressing. Donezk will be playing against the winless Antwerp side and I expect them to come out on top. For betting purposes, it is important that the score is 1-0 or 0-1 early on, and Barcelona in particular should push the pace. The Catalans have scored against Vallecano and Alaves recently, so Porto should do the same. Portuguese teams are known for their attacking threat and with Taremi and Evanilson, the Dragoes have the necessary firepower up front.
