HAPPYBET is primarily a sports betting provider, serving its customers both via an online platform and in local betting shops. The company had already decided some time ago to enter the slots market. The licence to do so was granted by the Joint Gaming Authority of the Länder in the summer of 2023. The first slots can now be found on the revamped website. How is the portfolio presented?

Slot machines are becoming an increasingly attractive proposition for betting sites and other gambling operators. This year, for example, AdmiralBet got into the slots game, and even Lotto24 and Tipp24 have been granted slots licences.

No wonder, because not only are the games very popular, the many fans also seem to enjoy playing them on sports betting sites more than the average. According to a survey by the Statista Research Department, Tipico even leads the way in terms of slot machine usage in Germany. HAPPYBET announced in June that it had now received a slot machine licence from the Joint Gaming Authority of the Länder (GGL). The press release also stated that the website would soon be overhauled and that the first machines would soon be online. This has now happened: Initially, titles from Novomatic, Amatic and Hölle Games can be found.

The GGL has granted HAPPYBET a five-year licence to offer slot games. The announcement of the award was made approximately two months ago. The bookmaker needed comparatively little time to adapt its website to offer slots. This was probably due to the fact that not so many titles were initially integrated.

The first suppliers are Novomatic, Amatic and Hölle Games (found at HAPPYBET under "Hölle Games"). This portfolio mainly includes Novomatic's classics such as Book of Ra in various versions, Lord of the Ocean, Lucky Lady's Charm Deluxe, Dolphin's Pearl Deluxe and others. Amatic is also represented with many "traditional" machine.

Playtech has been supplying internationally renowned slots for many years, as well as frequently used live casino games.
