I am more or less a newbie and have only ever played Roulette in online casinos.

With the slots I had understood there are those with low rtp and there are those with high rtp.

In a slot with low rtp you win more often but always only small amounts right? a slot would be eg Starbust.

In a slot with high rtp you win more rarely but then more right? a slot would be Ramses book or book of dead or is that wrong?

No the RTP indicates how many percent of all bets are paid out as winnings... what you mean is the "volatility"... higher volatility means larger wins possible but just rare and low volatility means smaller wins, but relatively constant.
