Oh, got an email from my Barclaycard that according to BGH ruling the credit card fees for lottery / gambling wagers will be refunded, retroactive to 2018. Comes a nice 4-digit sum with me! Let's see if the LBB also implements this, but possibly not from itself...

At LBB, this lotto/betting/gambling fee has been around for much longer than 2018. I don't think there will be a refund because they are not affected by the ruling. I remember many, many years ago to have paid a lottery ticket with the card and then I had to pay 7.50 € for a 10 € ticket fees.
