Bundesliga Tips: Bayern Munich vs. FC Augsburg
The second Bundesliga game of the season sees the reigning champions take on FCA. It is no secret that the Bavarians will be the favourites here, and are likely to win. I expect the result to be a big one and am therefore playing the handicap. The combination of Kane, Sane, Gnabry and Coman will be unstoppable for Augsburg. Can Bayern make this season interesting again?
Bayern dropped an unusually large number of points last time out, which ultimately led to the sacking of Julian Nagelsmann, although there may have been other internal reasons. The likes of Dortmund, Leipzig and Co. were unable to capitalise on their mistakes and failed to make the most of their opportunities, so no one can complain about the lack of excitement in the Bundesliga. Harry Kane is now playing for Bayern and should fit perfectly into their 4-2-3-1 system. I expect Bayern to offload Pavard and bring in a replacement, so their squad should be better than last year's.

Augsburg in wild game against Gladbach
The first matchday of the Bundesliga season has been a lot of fun and a lot of goals. I can tell you first hand that it was a very expensive 1. Day for the bookmakers. Augsburg were directly involved in the 4-4 draw with Gladbach and the game was a rollercoaster ride. The FCA came from 3-1 down to snatch three points from the jaws of defeat with a last-gasp penalty. Their task in Munich will not be any easier.

My Bayern v Augsburg prediction
Bayern won 4-0 in Bremen to open the season and have shown a lot of improvement since the Super Cup. I think this will be a straightforward affair and Bayern will win comfortably. Augsburg were knocked out of the Pokal by Unterhaching and are not a team that can compete with Bayern over 90 minutes this season. Their defence is missing the captain and leader in Gouweleeuw.
