Football betting: KSC vs. HSV
The 2. Bundesliga is playing its second matchday and in the following article I will be looking at the KSC vs. HSV game. Probably one of the best games of the 2. Spieltag. Both teams were on the 1. I only hope that this will be repeated on Sunday. Both KSC and HSV have been very strong in attack, but have also given up a lot in defence. This leads me to today's tip, as I am backing over 3.5 goals.

HSV to shine against Schalke 04
The opening game of the 2. Bundesliga took place last Friday and both teams gave a great account of themselves. In the end, HSV won 5-3 after trailing 2-1 at half-time. Hamburg had a total of 31 shots, 14 of which were on target. It was a really fun game to watch, which is something I had not thought of HSV for a long time. The outstanding player was striker Robert Glatzel, who was both a goal scorer and a source of inspiration.

Does Karlsruhe have an outside chance of promotion?

It would be wrong to overreact after just one matchday, and it was only a win against Osnabrück, but Karlsruhe were a dark horse for me before the season. Lars Stindl has now returned to his homeland and is still in very good shape, which will obviously help in the midfield. Otherwise, KSC is a well-oiled team with a lot of experience and we will see how far they can go. Tomorrow's game will be a real test.

My KSC vs HSV prediction
Karlsruhe won 3-2 and HSV 5-3, if both teams repeat only a part of that, it will be enough for the 3.5 spread. I think Hamburg will have a lot of fun here and the win against Schalke did them good. They played really well there and I think Schalke are defensively stronger than Karlsruhe. Of course, this is just my theoretical approach and in the world of sports betting, things never work out the way you think, but more than 3.5 goals at 2.0 looks like a good value for me. HSV will come out of the blocks at full throttle and KSC will have to match them straight away.
