NBA: Golden State Warriors vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
NBA Tips: Golden State Warriors vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
The new NBA season has been underway for around three weeks now and the first trends and insights are already emerging. Along with the NFL, the NBA has been my favourite league for years and I try to watch as many games as possible. I will be offering regular NBA predictions in the near future, but I wanted to wait and see how the season started. Players betting is very popular in the NBA and is offered by most bookmakers, unlike the NFL for example. Today, however, I have a winner for you, and it is the visitors from Oklahoma City. I will explain the reasons why in the course of this Warriors - Thunder prediction. If you have any questions or suggestions, just send me a PN.
Is the Golden State era over?
The Warriors have dominated the NBA in recent years, winning four titles. The trio of Curry, Thompson and Green will go down in history, with Kevin Durant helping them at times. But this era seems to be over, which is a natural process. The players are not getting any younger, the NBA is evolving and new trends are emerging. The Warriors have a record of 6 wins and 6 losses this season, which will not be enough in the end. The big problem is that they are struggling in the paint, with no player other than Stephen Curry averaging more than 20 points per game. Here is the main reason why I see the Thunder as the favourites: Stephen Curry is out tonight. On top of that, Draymond Green
My NBA prediction for Warriors vs. Thunder
Oklahoma City is one of the most exciting projects in the NBA at the moment and consists almost entirely of young, hungry players. Their current record is 7 wins and 4 losses and they have one of the best players in the NBA in Shai Gilgeous Alexander. He was named to the All-NBA First Team last year and was one of the five best players in the NBA. He was also outstanding for Canada at the World Basketball Championships. But there are plenty of talented young players alongside him, such as Giddy, Holmgren and Jalen Williams. Golden State have lost four games in a row and Curry has played in some of them. OKC have won four of their last five. The absence of Curry and Green is incredibly heavy and so I see a Thunder win as the only alternative in these NBA picks. Curry will go down in history as one of the top 10 players of all time and such a loss cannot be compensated for, especially in this difficult season.
