Champions League qualification is in full swing, with the first games of the semi-finals taking place this week. This is also the time when the supposedly 'bigger' teams enter the fray, and Eindhoven and Graz are among them. It has been a long time since an Austrian team other than Salzburg has played in the Champions League, and Sturm Graz would certainly like to see that happen. But PSV Eindhoven are a very strong opponent and I do not think it will be enough in the end.

PSV Eindhoven favourites against Graz
I expect PSV to win at home, but I do not like the odds on a win. PSV just won the Supercup against Feyernoord last weekend and that was a good warm-up. Coach Peter Bosz, who is well known in Germany for his spells at Dortmund and Leverkusen, has a very strong squad this year and the Eredivisie title should come back to Eindhoven. Particularly in attack, the likes of Noah Lang, Luuk de Jong and newcomer Johan Bakayoko are a joy to watch. PSV have perfected the classic Dutch 4-3-3.

Sturm Graz off to a good start
I think that Graz can definitely compete here, even though I have been very complimentary about PSV, they are certainly not infallible. The Austrian Bundesliga season has already begun and Sturm Graz have started with two wins in their first two games. The 3-0 win away to Austria Vienna was particularly impressive.

My prediction for PSV Eindhoven v Sturm Graz
PSV will be looking to lay the foundations for their progress at home and will be looking to their own attacking play. However, I believe that Graz will score at least one goal in this game and I am therefore backing both teams to score. Basically, I go into this game with the following thoughts: PSV will score at home and I expect Graz to score in 90 minutes. Sturm have had a good start to the season and could be in with a chance in the Netherlands.
