NBA tips: Orlando Magic - Toronto Raptors Today I'm taking a look at the NBA, where I spend most of my time away from the NFL. From a German perspective, it's worth taking a look at the Orlando Magic, where the two basketball world champions Franz and Moritz Wagner play. After the World Cup, things are also going really well for them in the NBA and the Magic are currently in a good fifth place in the East, which directly qualifies them for participation in the NBA playoffs. They have always missed out on the playoffs in recent years and now things are finally looking up for the franchise. Speaking of upward trajectory, I think that trend will continue today against the Toronto Raptors. You have to realize that the Canadiens have nothing at stake this year and are in a rebuilding mode. Three of their best players were let go before and during the season in order to reposition themselves for the future. To make matters worse, the only "good" remaining players are injured. Scottie Barnes won't play another game this year and RJ Barrett is mourning the loss of his little brother. Toronto has lost six games in a row, including just two days ago against the Orlando Magic. The result will be even worse at home. I expect a clear difference in class here.
