The French Canadian Twitch-Streamer “xQc“ stated that he has lost a record amount within one month whilst gambling online. As the 26-year-old admitted a few days ago in a podcast with Pokimane, just during April 2022 he lost around 1.85 million US-Dollar when gambling online. But how could he have lost so much and is the popular casino-streamer now gambling addicted?

Around a year ago we had already raised the issue in an article, whether the popular Twitch-Streamer “xQc“ has a gambling problem. A few years ago the young Twitch-Star spoke about this in a podcast with Pokimane. Here he admitted that he had lost around 1.85 million US Dollar, that is around 1.76 million Euro, within a month in online gambling. However “xQc“ did not speak about which online casinos he had visited and which casino games he had played.

“xQc“ speaks in a podcast about his problematic gambling behaviour

In view of the fact that the sum lost amounted to around 1.85 million US-Dollar within a month, even the most unexperienced gambling enthusiasts should be aware that the gambling behaviour is not healthy. The 26-year-old internet-star has more than 10.7 million followers just on Twitch and just through the paid subscriptions of his community per month he generates over 200,000 Euro, however despite of this his turnover and stakes are obviously too high.

In the podcast with Pokimane the popular Twitch-Star admitted, that he is probably gambling addicted. There was no other explanation for his out of hand casino sessions and the high stakes. Only a few weeks ago we had reported about an interview between a gambling addict and a casino owner.

“xQc’s“ real name is Félix Lengyel. The French Canadian Twitch-Streamer was born in 1995 and currently has over 10.7 million followers on Twitch. Among these followers there are even 100,000 fans who have booked a monthly abbonation which costs 5 US-Dollar per month. During his career “xQc“ has played different computer games, however recently his focus has been more on online gambling.

He also spoke with Pokimane about the issue of sponsored casino streams. Here “xQc“ is oft he opinion that everyone is responsible for his-or her own self and that it would not make sense to ban sponsored casino streams. At the end of the day other industries as for example the tobacco and alcohol companies also provide is a similar potential risk. A short while after he ended the podcast, “xQc“ proceeded to take part in a poker-tournament on the internet.

In a somewhat older article from October 2021 we raised the issue of how much money the famous casino streamers earn. According to this article between August 2019 and September 2021 ”xQc“ earned an estimated 9.5 million US-Dollar.

Conclusion

The world-famous Twitch-Streamer “xQc“ has allegedly lost the astonishing amount of 1.85 million US-Dollar in online gambling just in the month of April. The 26-year-old admitted to being gambling addicted. We can only wish that the young Canadian gets his gambling behaviour under control. However many of his followers, which in all number over 10 million, seem tob e entertained by his activities in the online casino.
