Aces Up
Aces Up is a Poker hand in which a Player has an extra pair in addition to a pair of aces. Consequently, in this case the player has two pairs. Such two-pair hands rank seventh in the value of poker hands, with Aces Up being a particularly valuable two-pair combination, since one of the pairs is aces. In total, there are 123,552 possible combinations for hands or 858 different valences with two pairs in a 52-card deck. Of course, the variation possibilities for Aces Up are much more limited, since a pair of Aces is involved.
If the player has two pairs (e.g. 7 and King), it is also called Kings Up. The use of the term Queens Up is also common, but it should be noted that the higher-value pair is always called first.
Example: If a player has an Ace and a Queen in his hand and the Board also contains an Ace and a Queen, among others, then it is called Aces Up (not Queens Up). The player then has two pairs, one of which consists of two aces.
